BTN2A1

Description

The BTN2A1 (butyrophilin subfamily 2 member A1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

The precise function of BTN2A1 remains largely unknown, although it has been implicated in immune responses and cell-cell interactions. It has been suggested that BTN2A1 may be involved in regulating the activity of NK cells and other immune cells, and in mediating interactions between cells. Further research is needed to fully elucidate its role in the body.

BTN2A1 is also known as BK14H9.1, BT2.1, BTF1, BTN2.1, DJ3E1.1.
