BNIPL

Description

The BNIPL (BCL2 interacting protein like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

BNIPL (Bcl-2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa-interacting protein 2-like protein) is a human protein encoded by the BNIPL gene. It has been shown to interact with BCL2-like 1, Bcl-2, CDC42, GFER, and Macrophage migration inhibitory factor. You can find more information about BNIPL's genomic location and gene details on the UCSC Genome Browser.

BNIPL might act as a connector between BCL2 and ARHGAP1/CDC42, facilitating cell death.

BNIPL is also known as BNIP-S, BNIP-Salpha, BNIP-Sbeta, BNIPL-1, BNIPL-2, BNIPL1, BNIPL2, BNIPS, PP753.
