If you are planning a trip to Dubai, you must be knowing about Dubai Health Authority’s new advisory regarding COVID test reports.

The New Advisory

  • All air travelers from India to Dubai via Air India Express to submit COVID test reports on arrival
  • Printed reports submitted should have a QR code that would open the original report issued by the diagnostic lab on scanning
  • Reports should display date and time of sample collection and report generation
  • There is a 96-hour time frame – the test reports are valid no later than 96 hours before departure

What can you do about it?

First, there is no need to panic.

As there is a time frame, plan and schedule your COVID test for not more than 96 hours before your departure. Factor in the turnaround time. Our lab gives the results in 4 hours. Others may take longer.

Make sure that the diagnostic lab where you are getting your COVID test done offers you QR coded reports. If you are travelling from Hyderabad, our labs in Madhapur and at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport offer QR coded reports. The reports are stored in our secure Laboratory Information Management System server. Your reports here will only be visible to people with whom you share the QR code.

Follow all the COVID precautions and have a safe journey!
