BCL9L
Description
The BCL9L (BCL9 like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.
BCL9L is a protein in humans encoded by the BCL9L gene.
BCL9L is a transcriptional activator that promotes the activity of beta-catenin, a key regulator of gene expression. BCL9L plays a role in tumor development and can enhance the ability of CTNNB1 (a protein associated with cancer) to transform cells into cancerous ones.
BCL9L is also known as B9L, BCL9-2, DLNB11.
