BCAP29

Description

The BCAP29 (B cell receptor associated protein 29) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

BCAP29 is a protein encoded by the BCAP29 gene in humans. It is associated with the B-cell receptor and may play a role in transporting membrane proteins. You can find more information about BCAP29 on the UCSC Genome Browser.

BCAP29 may facilitate the movement of membrane proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. It might also be involved in programmed cell death (apoptosis) triggered by the CASP8 protein.

BCAP29 is also known as B29, BAP29.
