ASB18
Description
The ASB18 (ankyrin repeat and SOCS box containing 18) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
ASB18 likely acts as a substrate recognition component within a protein complex called SCF-like ECS. This complex is responsible for attaching ubiquitin tags to target proteins, marking them for degradation by proteasomes.
ASB18 is also known as ASB-18.
