ASB14

Description

The ASB14 (ankyrin repeat and SOCS box containing 14) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

ASB14 acts as a substrate recognition component within a complex called SCF-like ECS. This complex functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, responsible for attaching ubiquitin molecules to target proteins. This tagging with ubiquitin signals for the degradation of these target proteins via the proteasome.

ASB14 is also known as -.
