ASB1
Description
The ASB1 (ankyrin repeat and SOCS box containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.
ASB1, the gene encoding Ankyrin repeat and SOCS box protein 1, produces a protein belonging to the ASB family. ASB proteins contain ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain. This SOCS box connects SOCS proteins and their binding partners to the elongin B and C complex, potentially leading to their degradation.
ASB1 is also known as ASB-1.
