ARRDC3

Description

The ARRDC3 (arrestin domain containing 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

ARRDC3 is a protein that plays a role in regulating the expression of adrenergic receptors on the cell surface. It also influences the endocytosis of activated ADRB2, leading to its degradation through ubiquitination. Although its role in recruiting NEDD4 to ADRB2 is still under investigation, it seems to be involved in directing ADRB2 to endosomes.

ARRDC3 is also known as TLIMP.
