ARL14
Description
The ARL14 (ADP ribosylation factor like GTPase 14) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.
ARL14, a GTPase, plays a crucial role in the trafficking of MHC class II-containing vesicles within dendritic cells. It recruits the motor protein MYO1E to these vesicles through its effector protein ARL14EP, enabling their movement along the actin cytoskeleton.
ARL14 is also known as ARF7.
