ARHGAP40

Description

The ARHGAP40 (Rho GTPase activating protein 40) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 20.

ARHGAP40 acts as a GTPase activator for Rho-type GTPases. It achieves this by converting these GTPases into their inactive GDP-bound state.

ARHGAP40 is also known as C20orf95, dJ1100H13.4.
