ANKRD12

Description

The ANKRD12 (ankyrin repeat domain 12) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 18.

ANKRD12 may recruit histone deacetylases (HDACs) to the p160 coactivators/nuclear receptor complex, leading to the inhibition of ligand-dependent transactivation.

ANKRD12 is also known as ANCO-2, ANCO1, GAC-1, Nbla00144.
