ANKRA2

Description

The ANKRA2 (ankyrin repeat family A member 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

ANKRA2 is believed to play a role in regulating the interaction between the 3M complex (composed of CCDC8, CUL7, and OBSL1) and the histone deacetylases HDAC4 and HDAC5. It might also regulate the function of LRP2/megalin.

ANKRA2 is also known as ANKRA.
