AMER3

Description

The AMER3 (APC membrane recruitment protein 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

AMER3 is involved in regulating the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. It achieves this by specifically binding to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(4,5)P2), which causes it to relocate to the cell membrane.

AMER3 is also known as FAM123C.
