AGR3

Description

The AGR3 (anterior gradient 3, protein disulphide isomerase family member) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

AGR3 is a human gene that encodes for the Anterior gradient protein 3 homolog. This protein plays a crucial role in regulating ciliary beat frequency and mucociliary clearance in the airway by mediating calcium signaling. It might also be involved in controlling intracellular calcium levels within tracheal epithelial cells.
