ADTRP
Description
The ADTRP (androgen dependent TFPI regulating protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.
ADTRP breaks down a specific type of fat called FAHFAs. It doesn't break down other common fats. It prefers FAHFAs with a special structure, where the branching is far from the end of the fat molecule. ADTRP also controls how much of a protein called TFPI is made in cells that line blood vessels. This protein helps prevent blood clots.
ADTRP is also known as AIG1L, C6orf105, dJ413H6.1.
