ADAP1

Description

The ADAP1 (ArfGAP with dual PH domains 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

ADAP1 is thought to be a GTPase-activating protein for the ADP ribosylation factor family. It binds to the signaling molecules phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PtdInsP3) and inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakisphosphate (InsP4).

ADAP1 is also known as CENTA1, GCS1L, p42IP4.
