Description
VARS1, also known as valyl-tRNA synthetase, plays a crucial role in protein synthesis. It acts as a molecular machine, attaching the amino acid valine to its corresponding transfer RNA (tRNA). This process, known as aminoacylation, ensures that the correct amino acid is incorporated into the growing polypeptide chain during translation.
