Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults, arising from the cells lining the small tubes within the kidney. It typically doesn‘t cause symptoms in its early stages, making early detection challenging. As it progresses, symptoms may include blood in the urine, lower back pain, and a mass or lump in the abdomen. Treatment options vary depending on the stage and include surgery, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and sometimes radiation. Early diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve outcomes for individuals with RCC.
