RSRC1

Description

The RSRC1 (arginine and serine rich coiled-coil 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

RSRC1 plays a crucial role in both constitutive and alternative pre-mRNA splicing, potentially influencing the recognition of the 3' splice site during the second step of splicing. Its involvement suggests a regulatory function in alternative splicing and transcription regulation.

RSRC1 is also known as BM-011, MRT70, SFRS21, SRrp53.
