RMND1


Description

The RMND1 (required for meiotic nuclear division 1 homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 6.

RMND1 is involved in mitochondrial translation. It may play a role in coordinating the assembly or maintenance of the mitochondrial ribosome. This function is supported by evidence from studies published in PubMed IDs 23022098 and 25604853.

RMND1 is also known as C6orf96, COXPD11, RMD1, bA351K16, bA351K16.3.
