ODAD4

Description

The ODAD4 (outer dynein arm docking complex subunit 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

ODAD4 is a subunit of the outer dynein arm-docking complex (ODA-DC). It plays a crucial role in anchoring the outer dynein arms (ODA) to the doublet microtubules in the ciliary axoneme. This anchoring process is essential for the assembly of the ODA-DC and the proper function of cilia.

ODAD4 is also known as TTC25.
