LARP7

Description

The LARP7 (La ribonucleoprotein 7, transcriptional regulator) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.

LARP7 is a key regulator of RNA processing and function, particularly in the context of transcription elongation and mRNA splicing. It binds specifically to distinct small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs), including 7SK RNA and U6 snRNA, and plays a crucial role in their processing and activity.

LARP7 is also known as ALAZS, HDCMA18P, PIP7S, hLARP7.
