IGSF3

Description

The IGSF3 (immunoglobulin superfamily member 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

The IGSF3 gene encodes a protein known as Immunoglobulin superfamily member 3. This protein is a membrane protein containing multiple immunoglobulin-like domains, specifically V-type Ig-like domains. Mutations in this gene have been linked to bilateral nasolacrimal duct obstruction (LCDD). This information is provided by RefSeq (June 2016).

IGSF3 is also known as EWI-3, LCDD, V8.
