Description

The FLAD1 (flavin adenine dinucleotide synthetase 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

FLAD1 catalyzes the conversion of flavin mononucleotide (FMN) to flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) by adding an adenylate group.

FLAD1 is also known as FAD1, FADS, LSMFLAD, PP591.
