DOCK3
Description
DOCK3, a member of the DOCK family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs), plays a crucial role in regulating cell migration and immune responses. Its primary function is to activate Rac GTPases, key regulators of cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility. DOCK3 is expressed in various immune cells, including T cells, B cells, and NK cells, where it contributes to their proper development, activation, and migration. Additionally, DOCK3 is involved in the formation of immunological synapses, specialized structures that facilitate communication between immune cells.
