Description

The CFAP300 (cilia and flagella associated protein 300) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

CFAP300 is a cilia- and flagella-specific protein that contributes to the organization and movement of the axoneme, the core structure of cilia and flagella. It may also be involved in the assembly of the outer and inner dynein arms, which are essential for generating movement.

CFAP300 is also known as C11orf70, CILD38, DNAAF17, FBB5.
